Your data should not feel like a trap door.
Last updated: June 28, 2026. This page summarizes the data controls DilMate should support for beta members and future production users. Availability can depend on where you live and which laws apply.
Access and portability
Members should be able to request a copy of account data such as profile fields, meetup participation, reports they submitted, blocks, subscription records, and connection/message records where disclosure does not compromise another person's privacy, safety, or legal rights.
Correction
Members can update most profile information directly in account and onboarding screens. For identity review, moderation records, billing records, or safety records that cannot be self-edited, members may request correction through support.
Deletion
Members may request account deletion. DilMate may need to retain certain records for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, safety investigations, legal compliance, backups, or to protect other members. Deleted profile content should no longer be visible in ordinary member-facing surfaces.
Sensitive information
Manual identity review photos, government ID details visible in those photos, moderation reports, and safety evidence are sensitive. DilMate should limit access, use them only for review and safety purposes, and avoid public display.
Verification of requests
DilMate may need to verify your identity before fulfilling access, correction, deletion, or limitation requests. Information collected to verify a privacy request should be used only for that verification purpose and related recordkeeping.
How to make a request
Before launch, DilMate should publish a dedicated support email or privacy request form. Include the email on your account, the right you want to exercise, your location, and enough detail to locate the records you are asking about.
